During our Epic Roadtrip around the Southwestern United States, we spent a day in Page, Arizona. After a day exploring a few of the area’s attractions (Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, and Horseshoe Bend), we spent a night at the Best Western- View of Lake Powell.
We booked a 2 Queen bed room with Lake View. Our travel days get packed pretty full of adventure time, so after watching the sunset over Horseshoe Bend we headed to the hotel to check in. We were on a two week roadtrip and saw a ton of different places in the Southwest.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The room is set up with the sink area outside of the rest of the bathroom. The room had all of the normal amenities… mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. There was a nice desk to work at, with the view out the window at your side. There were quite a few places to plug in all of our devices too! When we’re traveling, we end up with lots of extra cameras and devices to try to get all charged up at night!
The hotel does have an outdoor pool. We arrived after a long day and were back on the road early, so we did not check it out. Page, Arizona does get pretty hot during the day, so it would have been pretty refreshing! (Check out our itinerary and you’ll see we packed our days pretty full and were pretty tired once we made it to the hotel! Even the kids!)
My favorite thing about the room was the view! The Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River creates the beginning of Lake Powell. We arrived in the evening when the area was all lit up and we had a stunning view from our room. In the morning we got to enjoy the view all over again, this time with the daylight revealing all of the details of the hills and the dam!
I love to get the most value from a hotel stay, so I’m a big fan of free breakfast! The breakfast was good and the perfect way to get our day started off right! We were ready to head out right from breakfast and hit the road to the Grand Canyon! We had a great stay here and would recommend it!

Pro tip to keep a road trip moving: set up pickup at Target or Walmart. I love being able to load up my cart a day or two before and set up a pickup wherever we will be, so we can save a little bit of time and keep on moving! We had lots of sandwiches on this road trip and had lots of meals from the cooler. It was nice to be able to set up the pickups when I was planning the trip.
